Your new role 
In your new role, you are responsible for planning, maintaining and improving the status of equipment and components key to the manufacture and measurement of medical and other devices. In addition, you will be guiding contractors during the execution of their work and, at the same time, oversee safe work habits. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Performing scheduled routine and nonscheduled calibrations on production and facilities equipment.
• Initialising and dealing with OOS situations. QA will be informed through a Calibration Alert.
• Documentation and reviewing the work performed in accordance with the procedures of the Company and applicable regulations.
• Suggesting improvements to existing standard operating procedures for calibration methods and systems.
• Maintaining the calibration status of all measuring and critical manufacturing equipment.
• Assists in establishing calibration and test methods for new and existing equipment.
• Completing accurately all calibration test records.
• Raising issues and reports on calibration failures.
• Developing new standard operating procedures for calibration of new equipment.
• Participate in projects, programs, committees and special activities that promote the company to establish its strategic goals.
• Attend trainings and education programs applicable and immediately notify their supervisor if there are tasks and / or responsibilities which have not been properly trained.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, overtime, on holidays, and weekends. 

• Professional certifications as required by regulation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency e.g. MS Office, SAP
• Experience with SAP-PM/QM, knowledge and experience with lean methodology is considered a plus. 
• Excellent analytical skill at identifying gaps and root causes of issues and thinking outside the box to develop a solution.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude. 
• 4–6 years of prior experience.
