Functieomschrijving:

Job description: The company sells/produces touring cars. The company is part of an international concern. There are 200 – 250 employees per factory. It is an engineer-to-order factory, which means that each bus contains customer specific features that must be tested for that customer.


Gevraagd wordt:

The following is requierd:

– Independently test and troubleshoot electrical systems of buses for malfunctions or error messages. In addition, commissioning of various electrical systems.

– Receives orders from the electrical engineer in the business office in the form of a drawing package and bill of materials and/or verbal instructions.

– Works independently according to drawing and bill of materials.

– Observes the usual company rules, installation and safety regulations.

– Installations are standard, but also customer specific (specials).

– Independently tests electrical installations of buses and solves malfunctions or error messages.

– Also commissioning of various electrical systems (including software download and setting hardware parameters)

– For electric vehicles independently, as NEN-9140 skilled worker, commissioning and energizing vehicle.

– Provides weekly feedback to engineering on customer specific electrical issues.

– Functions as a source of information for other employees within production.

– If failures cannot be resolved, feedback to process owner.

– Ensuring quality of own product.

– Thinking along with changes regarding safety/improvements.

– Tests inputs and outputs of with electrical voltage pneumatics and hydraulics.

– Makes necessary adjustments according to specification or according to known custom.

– Adjusts motor drives of various types and manufacturers according to manual.

– Independently tests the software programs required to control the vehicle.

– For prototypes or deviating programs, he may receive support in this from an Engineer (Electrical).

– Completes the usual checklists and updates the drawing package and bill of materials.

– Conducts an evaluation interview with the Engineer (Electrical) involved.

– During this conversation, reports problems experienced, comes up with suggestions to make next machine more efficient or better and offers leftover materials for return to warehouse.

– Receives orders from Team Leader and independently tests electrical installation.

– For instruction serves installation diagrams, drawings, instruction lists and verbal instructions. If unclear, requests information from Team Leader or Engineer

– Independently uses equipment for testing and commissioning.

– Decides himself on the usability and application of auxiliary tools and (hand) tools and auxiliary materials  insofar as they are not prescribed.

– Processing the changes in the installation on the designated drawing package and handing these in to the Work Planner upon completion.

– For electric vehicles independently, as NEN-9140 skilled worker, commissioning and energizing vehicles.

– After testing inputs and outputs, adjusting the motors, testing the available program is tested.

– In case of new or incomplete programs, job holder receives support from the test engineer or Engineer (Electrical).

– Observes the required care, because valuable components are being worked on and damage to them must be prevented.

– Upon discovery of errors in the drawing or bill of materials, the assistance of the Electrical Assembly Team Leader or the appropriate Engineer (Electrical) is sought.

– The electrical engineer performs the final test independently. Escalation where necessary to electrical engineer.

– Compliance with Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and safety requirements.
