The Application Management Specialist will be part of setting up the Application Center team. This team is responsible for the life cycle management of various applications on multiple device types within an Enterprise environment – from application initiation to decommissioning, both within our organization and through our external suppliers.

This is a unique opportunity to become the first member of the Application Center team, actively contributing to a pilot project. In this role, you will not only manage applications technically but also play a pivotal role in shaping processes, defining best practices, and helping build the foundation for the Application Center.

You will work closely with the Application Management Solution Designer, who supports competence areas and creates technical roadmaps to guide them.

Responsibilities:

●     Take technical ownership of some of the most commonly used client applications in Vattenfall.
●     Stay up to date on the development of the applications in scope.
● Initiate requests for updating applications and provide all necessary instructions for installation and configuration.
●     Test and sign off application packages before they are made available to the business.
●     Create roll-out plans and communicate with the Deployment Team to plan delivery.
●     Act as the first technical contact for applications within the Application Center’s scope, including 3rd line support for functional issues.
●     Collaborate with stakeholders such as Security, Packaging Team, Deployment Team, and Vendors to ensure successful and timely delivery.
●     Support Incident, Problem, and CIM processes as Subject Matter Expert.
● Contribute to defining best practices, documenting processes, and improving workflows during the pilot phase.
●     Help shape the long-term operating model of the Application Center.

De eisen

At least five years of experience in IT and general knowledge of current IT Enterprise application management for relevant device types (Windows, Android, macOS, iOS).

Good knowledge of troubleshooting functional problems with client applications within Enterprise environments.

Knowledge of Application Life Cycle processes in Enterprise environments.

Knowledge of related Microsoft tooling products like Intune is a plus.

Good knowledge of IT security.

Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Effective communicator with conflict/problem resolution skills.

Ability to work independently on assignments within a set timetable and set own priorities.

Ability to operate in an evolving setup, handle ambiguity, and influence stakeholders across IT and business domains.

Ability to build trust and confidence and to be a team player in an international team.
