Step into a leading role in high-voltage engineering! Our client is seeking a driven Medior/Senior HV Engineer ready to take ownership of impactful industrial projects up to 250kV in Arnhem.
Our client, an established engineering partner within the Food, Chemical, Waste Processing, and Hydrogen sectors, is looking for an experienced Medior or Senior High Voltage (HV) Engineer to join their team in Arnhem. This is a hands-on, technically rich position requiring leadership and deep domain expertise
You will play a critical role in delivering complete high-voltage infrastructure designs—from initial concepts through to execution—for complex industrial environments. As a Primary Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of distribution stations and HV systems up to 250kV, ensuring technical excellence throughout every stage of the project.
In addition to owning your projects, you will support the broader engineering team, acting as a subject-matter expert and mentor. You’ll be working closely with project leads, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and future-proof energy solutions across various industrial sectors.
This role is ideal for an HV professional who “ticks all the boxes” technically, enjoys a mix of leadership and collaboration, and thrives in high-stakes, multi-sector projects where precision and responsibility are key.
- 5+ years of experience as a High Voltage Engineer, preferably in industrial environments
- Proven design expertise up to 250kV, from concept to completion
- Strong experience with primary engineering and HV distribution stations
- Ability to lead complex engineering projects and collaborate cross-functionally
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to support and coach the team
- Familiarity with industries such as Food, Chemical, Waste Processing, or Hydrogen is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
