What will you do?

As a mail sorter, you’ll play an important role in processing incoming and outgoing mail. You’ll make sure everything is sorted quickly and accurately so that it reaches the right destination. Your responsibilities include sorting mail by process type, pre-sorting it into red bins for SMK/SMC, and checking whether shipments are complete and correctly labelled. You won’t be doing this alone — you’ll work as part of a fun, motivated team that ensures everything runs smoothly. The work is fast-paced but structured, making it easy to get into a good rhythm.

At PostNL, you’ll earn a starting wage of €14.40 per hour. In addition, you’ll receive a travel allowance for distances of 6 kilometers or more (one way). You will also benefit from extra pay in the form of evening and night bonuses: a 20% bonus applies to hours worked between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and a 40% bonus applies to hours worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. These bonuses give you a valuable boost on top of your base salary.

Working days and hours

Your shift runs from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and you’ll need to be available at least three days a week. This makes it an ideal part-time job for students, people with daytime jobs, or anyone looking for flexible evening work.
