Are you mechanically skilled and eager to put your knowledge into practice in a factory setting? For a leading production facility near Amsterdam, we are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic with a background in Mechanical Engineering.
This is a hands-on role where you will be directly involved with the machines on the production floor. From performing maintenance to solving breakdowns, you’ll play an essential part in keeping operations running without interruptions.
Your role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will:
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Replace and repair mechanical parts such as bearings, belts, seals, couplings, and valves
Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions to minimize downtime
Support machine adjustments and restarts after service work
Document activities and share findings with colleagues in the team
MBO diploma (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
Some relevant work experience in maintenance, repair, or mechanical systems
Strong mechanical insight and a practical, hands-on mindset
Awareness of safety regulations in a production environment
Motivation to grow and develop within a technical team
Salary up to €4,500 gross per month (depending on experience)
Day shifts only (Monday to Friday – evenings and weekends free)
25 vacation days (full-time basis)
Compensation for health insurance and gym membership
A 12-month contract with the goal of permanent employment

You will join a well-established production site that plays an important role in the supply of high-quality products to international markets. The factory is known for its modern installations, safe working environment, and continuous improvements on the shop floor. Within the technical department, mechanics and engineers work side by side to ensure that all machines run smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
