We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of safe and reliable power systems, from concept to detailed engineering, optimising solutions, coordinating vendors, and ensuring compliance with codes, budgets, schedules, and project requirements.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Own the selection of methods and procedures and optimise the electrical design within project specifications, international codes, and industry standards.
• Plan and deliver discipline activities and deliverables on time and within budget, managing interfaces with other systems and disciplines. 
• Develop, review, and approve engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical documents for the electrical scope. 
• Act as Package Engineer for electrical equipment (specification, bid evaluation, procurement, manufacturing follow-up, FAT, delivery).
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties; review vendor documentation and resolve technical queries. 
• Capture and apply lessons learned; assess and control change impacts across system boundaries.
• Support site engineering, inspection, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Lead and mentor engineers/designers on assigned scope; may act as Discipline Lead.
• Ensure reliability, operability, safety, and regulatory compliance across all deliverables.
• Interface with the Project Management Team and contribute to progress reporting and risk mitigation. 

Gevraagd

• Engineering degree (Electrical or related).
• 5-10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry across concept/FEED, basic, and detailed design.
• Proficiency with engineering design and calculation tools, strong systems engineering mindset. 
• Proven experience as a package engineer for electrical equipment and in coordinating vendors/manufacturing. 
• Solid knowledge of international codes, company and industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting site activities (inspection, testing, commissioning, monitoring).
• Strong planning, analysis, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multi-disciplinary interfaces and meet schedule/budget.
• Effective communicator in English; able to guide and mentor team members.
• Willingness to travel to vendors/sites when required.
