Sign up for the Lely Hackathon! On Friday November 28 2025, Lely will organise a day full of real challenges, a tour de boer (farm tour), and working hands-on with Lely technology. Discover how you, as an aspiring tech talent, can make a difference for the farm of the future. We’re hosting the event at our farm in Schipluiden, fun, inspiring, and interactive. No need to worry about getting there: we’ll arrange transport from Delft Central Station. Lunch? Sorted. Drinks afterwards? Absolutely. And the best part: participation is completely free. All you need to bring is your laptop and your skills.

Ready to put your Python skills to the test and get to know Lely? During this session, you and your team will program a demo robot. First, you’ll take on four basic parkour challenges, from sharp turns to smart obstacle avoidance, and then it’s up to you to create your own open-ended task. Let your creativity run wild! 

For Embedded Engineers 
Do you enjoy working with data and making an impact behind the scenes? If you have beginner programming skills (preferably in Python), this hackathon is for you. You are interested in robotics and how data drives innovation and are studying a technical bachelor’s (WO/HBO).
