About the role
As an experienced Content Creation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering audiovisual and digital content with a strong emphasis on graphic design, video production, and content creation.
Via your close support and collaboration with paid media, social media, sales and network teams, you will play a key role in building a strong, consistent, and sustainable brand presence for BYD in the Netherlands and across the Benelux region. You will report directly to the PR & Marketing Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Hands-on in designing and producing high-quality graphic and video content (from concept, shooting, editing to final delivery) for campaigns, digital channels, internal communication, and dealer requests.
- Drive the end-to-end content process — from ideation to execution and distribution — ensuring messages are consistent, creative, and impactful across digital, print, and OOH touchpoints.
- Work closely with the Paid Media, Social Media, and Dealer Marketing teams to ensure creative assets meet commercial needs while safeguarding BYD’s brand image.
- Coordinate with agencies and production partners when needed, managing deadlines and budgets, while keeping strong in-house creative execution as the core.
- Track and analyze content performance in collaboration with digital colleagues and translate insights into creative improvements that drive engagement and conversion.
- Guarantee that all creative outputs align with BYD’s brand guidelines, quality standards, and local regulations.
Your Profile:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in creating and delivering audiovisual and digital content (graphic design, video shooting & editing, content production), ideally with exposure to event, creative, or digital agencies.
- Strong command of creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, CMS, etc.), with a portfolio that demonstrates both creativity and execution excellence.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end content projects — from concept development to final distribution — meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and content trends in the Dutch market.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Dutch and English, with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (media, social, dealer marketing) and managing external suppliers or agencies when needed.
- Analytical mindset: able to interpret content performance data and translate insights into creative improvements.
- A self-starter, adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and rapidly evolving environment.
