As a Process Innovation Technologist, you turn strategy into action. You bring ideas to life and drive real innovation. You will:

• Shape the future: Lead the development and upscaling of innovative production processes, from lab scale tests to pilot lines and full factory implementation.
• Drive innovation: Turn consumer trends, operational needs, and scientific breakthroughs into next-level product and process solutions.
• Challenge and improve: Deepen our understanding of raw materials, product behavior, and processing impact. Always question the status quo to make meaningful improvements.
• Grap the potential: Lead the development and documentation of breakthrough products and technologies by challenging external partners and knowledge institutes, to transform fuzzy ideas into valuable projects.
• Maximize impact: Increase product value, reduce cost, boost process reliability, and optimize raw material use.
• Own the journey: From ideation to execution, you’ll lead innovation that matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation: Lead the development of proprietary technology with strategic value for LW.
• Think Big, Start Smart: Design prototypes and lead scale-up of new product and process technologies.
• Knowledge Leader: Stay ahead of technological trends; be the go-to expert for at least one core technology area.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to bring ideas to life.
• Project Leadership: Manage cross-functional innovation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Process Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ year relevant working experience.
• Strong experience in packaged food products; ingredients knowledge is a plus.
• A proven ability to translate science into business value.
• Skilled in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Creative, structured, and solutions-driven, with a strong sense of ownership.
