As interim Data Engineer (Admin. Support) you will provide essential assistance to our team and will be part of our Engineering Support department. You will manage handling administrative tasks, structuring data, and generating clear and up-to-date insights to support the planning and delivery of project work. In this role, you will function as a key supportive link between the team leadership and the information flow towards the shipyard.Functie-eisen
Key accountabilities• Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the project lead.• Process and manage tasks, change requests and feedback from the yard on engineering batch releases.• Collect, structure, and manipulate data in Excel and ideally Power BI to generate clear overviews and status reports.• Create and support dashboards to monitor progress and highlight outstanding actions.• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation within the project administration.• Function as a reliable point of contact for reporting and data-driven insights.Skills & experience• Bachelor or Master degree and background in administration or project support, ideally within a technical environment.• Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI and/ or Power Query is a strong advantage.• Flexible, initiative-taking, and supportive attitude, “digital whizzkid” who enjoys helping teams by simplifying and visualizing complex data.• Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and structured data handling.• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.• Good command of English, knowledge of Dutch and/or German is considered a plus.• Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.• Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.Arbeidsvoorwaarden
