Seeking an internationally oriented Project Manager with extensive experience in both offshore and onshore project execution, specifically focused on the removal, processing, and recycling of submarine communication cables. 

This role requires a blend of technical expertise and organizational strength, delivering sustainable end-of-life solutions for decommissioned subsea cables.

The Project Manager will lead cable removal projects in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing safety, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation & Planning: Analyze client requirements, prepare cost estimates and project plans, determine resource needs, organize project kick-offs, and coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Project Execution: Lead works managers and international teams on-site, coordinate activities, monitor progress and quality, resolve deviations, and ensure safety and contractual compliance.
• Budget & Contract Management: Translate contract terms into practical execution, monitor costs, delivery times, and quality, conduct price negotiations, and select suppliers.
• Evaluation & Improvement: Complete project documentation, organize stakeholder evaluations, implement improvements, and identify opportunities for process optimization and sustainability.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or maritime studies.
• Several years of leadership experience in the offshore or maritime industry.
• Proven project management experience in an international setting.
• Fluent Dutch is a must.
