industry standards, regulatory obligations (DORA), and the client’s risk appetite.

On a daily basis you will have a cross-cutting responsibility to champion our architectural
principles such as secure by design and zero trust. As an integral member of the Enterprise
Architecture you will help us modernize security for existing services and ensure security is
baked into everything we deliver, including technical standards, design governance and
operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and maintain the organisation’s cybersecurity architecture aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Design secure Azure cloud architectures, including identity & access management, network segmentation, data protection, logging & monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Integrate privacy and security-by-design principles into all IT initiatives.
  • Assess impact of new solutions, integrations, and emerging threats on the existing architecture.
  • Provide technical security leadership for projects during design, development, and deployment.
  • Define security requirements and patterns for solution development teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments to validate solutions against security standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, and relevant insurance sector regulations.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, IT teams, DevOps, and compliance officers to balance security, usability, and cost.
  • Present high-level security architecture designs and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support CISO and risk management with architecture risk assessments, reporting, and documentation.
  • Stay up to date with cloud-native security trends, emerging technologies, and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Adapt architecture to counter emerging threats and integrate resilience by design.
  • Contribute to security culture and knowledge-sharing across teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security architectures for cloud
  • environments (preferably Microsoft Azure).
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity Federation.
    • Azure Security Centre / Defender, Key Vault, and encryption mechanisms.
    • Azure network security (NSGs, firewalls, private endpoints).
    • Secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, CIS benchmarks, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and/or NIS2
  • Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and third-party risk integration into architecture.
  • Mandatory certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
  • Preferred certifications:
    • TOGAF, CISSP, CCSP, or other relevant cloud/security architecture certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language.
  • Influencing skills to guide design decisions and promote secure practices.
  • Collaboration and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Flexibility in working arrangements
  • A collaborative, international environment with room for impact
  • Ongoing training and development
  • The chance to shape the security posture of a growing, security-conscious organization
