As our Engineering Manager Platforms – Web and mobile, You’ll be at the heart of Eneco’s digital transformation, driving the evolution of our web and mobile platforms. You’ll lead the way in building resilient, scalable, and future-proof digital experiences. Together with your team, you’ll empower our engineering organisation to deliver faster, more reliable, and seamless solutions across web and mobile every day.

You’ll help shape a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and learning, while staying hands-on.

• Leading platform initiatives for web and mobile — designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and shared services that accelerate web and mobile application delivery.
• Driving observability and reliability across platforms — implementing end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and SLOs to ensure seamless, high-quality user experiences on web and mobile.
• Building self-service developer platforms — creating tools, SDKs, and documentation that empower web and mobile engineers to ship faster and with greater autonomy.
• Standardising architecture and best practices — defining frameworks, APIs, and integration patterns that support consistent, maintainable development across iOS, Android, React Native,Vuejs and modern web stacks.
• Automating and optimising delivery pipelines — reducing manual steps, improving testing workflows, and increasing operational efficiency for web and mobile engineering teams.
• Contributing hands-on to architectural decisions and implementation — guiding trade-offs and technical direction across frontend, mobile, and backend/platform systems.
• Mentoring and growing engineers — fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture and coaching teams working at the intersection of platform, web, and mobile engineering.

• You’re passionate about building scalable web and mobile platforms, driving reliability, and achieving operational excellence.
• You have a degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of experience designing and running cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with infrastructure-as-code.
• You’ve led engineering teams focused on platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE — ideally supporting both web and mobile product teams.
• You have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile, Kubernetes or container orchestration, observability, and automation.
• You understand modern web stacks (React, Angular, Vue) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, React Native) well enough to set standards, guide architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.
• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping connect platform strategy to business needs.
• You’re enthusiastic about mentoring and developing engineers across multiple disciplines.
• You can set technical direction and long-term vision for web and mobile platform initiatives while balancing immediate delivery needs.
• You thrive on creating an engineering culture that’s collaborative, supportive, and developer-focused
