Accountabilities

• Establish strategic procurement category management on the portfolio (incl. building and implementing strategies);
• Advise Business stakeholders on sourcing approach, supplier management and internal/external insights;
• Deliver on Procurement KPIs (e.g. non-exhaustive list : hard savings, value added, contract coverage, Supplier Relationship Management, value pipeline, vendor reduction;
• Execute tenders and prepare for implementation;
• Plan & forecast Procurement activities;
• Keep knowledge & expertise on the categories up-to-date to drive innovation & contribute to the company's competitive advantage;
• Manage risk & Compliance (incl. data privacy).

Stakeholders

• Strategy alignment with BG leadership teams;
• Local/regional Business Procurement who will drive execution of your tenders;
• Direct material and full packaging category procurement team;
• R&D;
• Suppliers.

Gevraagd

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience specifically in the field of Packaging procurement and preferably in pallets, big bags, and kraft bags;
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus);
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications is a plus.

• Proven experience in global procurement, specifically within the general packaging category; 
• Self-starter and quick thinker;
• Strategic thinking and Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; 
• Capacity to build networks and winning strategies;
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and relevant technologies; 
• Ability to analyze complex data, make data-driven decisions, and implement strategic initiatives; 
• Familiarity with legal and contractual aspects of procurement; 
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities; 
• Commercial acumen and digital foresight; 
• Proven ability to demonstrate Connection, Curiosity, Courage & Integrity. 

Aanbod

Through our agency, you will receive a temporary contract for 6 months.

The salary range for this full-time role is between €8000 and €9500 gross per month, depending on your education and experience.
