Iron Worker – Ship Repair & ConstructionLocation: Rotterdam

About the role
As an iron worker in ship repair, you will be directly involved in repairing and modifying large and small ship structures. You work on hulls, sections, and steel constructions that require precision and craftsmanship. Your experience in repairs, adjustments, and heavy steel work makes you a valuable part of the team.
Your responsibilities
- repairing and assembling ship structures and hull sections;
- cutting, burning, and shaping steel parts;
- modifying damaged or worn constructions during repairs;
- reading and interpreting technical drawings;
- cooperating closely with welders and fitters during ship repairs;
- working according to safety and quality standards.
Gevraagd
What you bring- proven experience as an iron worker in ship repair and heavy steel constructions;
- skilled in cutting, burning, and measuring;
- ability to work from drawings and instructions;
- vocational level (MBO) and technical insight;
- proactive and accurate working style;
- Dutch or English language skills.
