As Head of Technical Services you will ensure, together with the team, that the hotel is and remains in top technical shape. In this position you will be responsible for solving all technical problems in the hotel. You are responsible for the maintenance of the materials and installations used and carry out repairs. You also take care of the periodic checks, maintenance and electrical work. You are a contact point for colleagues and guests in case of maintenance problems and keep in touch with external parties about technical and/or maintenance issues. You will manage 2 colleagues.

• Drawing up work schedules, assigning work, giving instructions where necessary;
• Responsible for troubleshooting and repairs to lifts, air conditioning, refrigeration, sprinkler systems, etc;
• Submitting proposals for investments, replacements, adjustment of contracts with outside firms;
• Ensuring timely availability of the necessary parts, materials and technical aids. You take care of the stock replenishment;
• Co-responsible for the hotel's safety and security measures, maintenance of the fire alarm system, periodic testing of security equipment and exercises;
• Calling in external firms for troubleshooting and repairs to lifts, air-conditioning, cooling, sprinkler systems, etc;
• Maintain environmental and energy reports, drawing files, malfunction reports, etc;
• Manage local certificates (lift approval, fire extinguishers, etc.);
• Maintain core data on employees and contractors.
• Carrying out repairs to equipment, installations, facilities, sanitary facilities, lighting, etc.
• Solving problems and malfunctions and following up ad hoc complaints;
• Performing checks, maintenance and repairs to the installations and kitchen;
• Ultimately responsible for legionella management and maintenance of all rooms;
• Coordinating the implementation and monitoring the progress of the implementation quality
• Coordinating the implementation of maintenance contracts
• Purchasing/ordering of stock replenishments;
• Responsible for Technical Services Team, such as work planning, leave, performance reviews, training/training new employees, etc;
• You become team leader and coordinate everything around FAFS;
• You will report to the Director of Operations and GM.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years demonstrable work experience as technical service employee;
• Command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Willing to work occasionally on Saturdays;
• Experience in the hotel industry is an advantage.
