About Vertigo Technologies: Vertigo Technologies is a Dutch AgTech scale-up transforming fruit quality management. With our Fresco Microwave Sensing (FMS) platform, we make it possible to look inside fruit without cutting it open. By combining microwave sensing with machine learning, Fresco delivers fast and reliable insights into internal quality helping reduce waste, cut CO₂ emissions, and improve profitability across the supply chain. With pilots and customers already in Europe and the Americas, Vertigo is now at a critical stage: moving from pilots into repeatable adoption and commercial growth. Assignment Summary We are looking for an interim consultant with proven experience in launching new technologies in agriculture, food, or related supply chains. The assignment will focus on onboarding new clients, supporting early adopters, and building partnerships that turn pilots into commercial success. Key Responsibilities Build and negotiate commercial partnerships with growers, packhouses, importers, and distributors in Europe, North America, and Latin America Set up and execute a clear onboarding process for new customers from first training to daily use. Work directly in orchards, packhouses, and cold stores to translate technical features into practical benefits. Support early adopters in extracting value, reducing barriers to adoption, and becoming reference clients. Provide structured feedback to the technical team so product and market needs remain aligned. Add a strong commercial and people-oriented layer to complement a technically driven team.

What you bring
Profile We Are Looking for?
• Business Development & Partnerships: Proven track record in building commercial partnerships and distribution agreements in agriculture, AgTech, or food supply chains. Comfortable negotiating internationally.
• Multilingual & Cross-Cultural: Fluent in Dutch, English, and Spanish; able to bridge business practices between Europe and Latin America.
• Customer Success Orientation: Hands-on experience onboarding and enabling customers to adopt new technology. Skilled at explaining technical features in simple, practical terms.
• Agri-Food Domain Knowledge: Background in agriculture, fresh produce trading, post-harvest handling, or food quality assurance. Strong understanding of challenges like harvest timing, export quality control, and buyer claims.
• People-Focused Drive: Natural ability to motivate, align, and keep things moving with both customers and internal teams.
