Banqueting Sales Representative 

Attracting new opportunities and facilitating successful events: that's what our banqueting sales team is all about. Are you a salesperson with a knack for building relationships? Join our team and help us take our events to the next level. 

What are you going to do? 

As a banqueting sales representative, you'll embark on a new adventure filled with various requests and expectations. It begins with the excitement of a phone call or email from our future guests, where you'll bring their vision for their perfect event to life. Whether it's an intimate gathering for two or a lavish multi-day event for 150 people, you'll embrace the challenge and make every detail possible. You'll act as the bridge between departments, communicating to ensure everyone is on the same page. It's all about clear, efficient communication, ensuring everything comes together perfectly. You'll also take potential clients on a journey through our spaces and inspire them with the possibilities. During the actual events, you'll be present, ensuring everything runs smoothly. From checking every corner of the room to ensuring smiles on our guests' faces, your satisfaction comes from their satisfaction. 

Every day brings a flood of new requests, which you handle with care and attention. Your dedication extends beyond the event itself; you ensure seamless follow-up to ensure our guests are not only satisfied but also keep coming back. Figures and overviews are the reflection of our success. Therefore, you will create accurate reports and overviews that allow us to not only measure our current performance but also plan for future success. 

Where are you going to do this? 

The former Shipping House of Amsterdam now houses one of Amsterdam's most iconic five-star hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel boasts 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, eight meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Located just 500 meters from Central Station, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is easily accessible from the highway.

Our hotel is part of Amrâth Hotels. Amrâth Hotels comprises 12 three-, four-, and five-star hotels in the Netherlands. Our hotels are situated in unique and central locations from Maastricht to Alkmaar. They are characterized by comfort, personalized service, and a unique character. 

Your luggage

What do we offer you? 

• An exciting 38-hour position in the heart of Amsterdam 
• A salary in accordance with the Horeca-collective labor agreement 2443.95 EUR based on a full-time employment contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience. 
• One-year contract with the option to extend. We want you to stay with us!
