Your responsibilities are to:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and streaming) using Azure services;
• Develop and automate infrastructure using ARM templates or Bicep;
• Manage and optimize Azure resources (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Key Vaults, RBAC);
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and infrastructure workflows;
• Work with Kafka to build and manage real-time streaming data solutions;
• Write and maintain Python and Linux shell scripts for data processing and automation;
• Ensure security, compliance, and data governance standards are followed;
• Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure using tools like Grafana;
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Gevraagd

The ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or DevOps;
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS, RBAC, Key Vaults);
• Proficiency in Python, Linux scripting, and setting up CI/CD pipelines;
• Practical experience with Kafka and real-time data streaming;
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation using ARM templates or Bicep;
• A proactive, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch not required);
• A collaborative attitude and a “you build it, you own it” mentality.

Aanbod

A challenging temporary position in Amsterdam (hybrid working is possible). The rate for self-employed individuals is around €80 per hour. There is also the option of a flexible contract through us; in that case, a nice monthly salary applies.
