As a coffee machine engineer, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep, servicing and light maintenance of coffee machines, tea dispensers and vending machines (such as soft drinks and snack machines). You’ll be working at a variety of client sites. Ranging from small businesses and corporate offices to government buildings, healthcare centres and production facilities.

Your work makes a real difference: after all, a fresh cup of coffee in the morning can make or break someone’s day. Some engineers work on fixed daily routes with a company vehicle, while others are based at one or more client sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Restocking and cleaning coffee, tea and vending machines;
• Monitoring stock levels and refilling ingredients and cups when required;
• Carrying out basic maintenance and resolving minor technical issues;
• Providing friendly customer service and ensuring clients are satisfied;
• Recording administration such as stock usage on a tablet.

You don’t need to be an experienced engineer, because full training will be provided. What matters most is that you are service-minded, approachable and enjoy working independently!!

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day. Standard hours are 07:00 to 15:00, but there may be flexibility to start earlier or later depending on client needs.

• A gross monthly salary of €2,349.00 (based on 37.5 hours per week);
• 24 days’ holiday;
• 8.33% holiday allowance;
• Full-time contract with the prospect of a permanent role;
• Travel and expense allowance (from 10 km);
• Company vehicle for commuting (only for those working fixed routes, not site-based roles);
• Comprehensive in-house training on the machines and service process;

• Customer-focused and professional, with strong communication skills;
• Holder of a valid driving licence (B);
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work;
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
• Able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG);
• Living in or near Rotterdam, or willing to travel there daily.
