Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to join our Sea Logistics ISC team. If you're passionate about global supply chains, solution design, and driving commercial growth, this is your opportunity to make a real impact. As ISC Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation across our international supply chain services. You’ll lead strategic initiatives focused on new business, upselling, and retention, while owning and prioritizing the ISC pipeline. Working closely with Sales and Global teams, you’ll design impactful solutions that blend operational excellence with cutting-edge technology.
• Design bespoke ISC solutions optimally balancing operational and technical capabilities;
• Develop accurate commercial models and pricing strategies;
• Create engaging marketing materials and the ability to present and showcase them;
• Identify and design service proposals and setting high grade standards;
• Train and upskill Sales and Key Account teams in ISC services and value propositions;
• Represent ISC NL in global and regional communities and product enhancement initiatives;
• Use exceptional empathy and relationship-building skills;
• Being skilled in solution selling and navigating long sales cycles.
• Minimum 3-5 years work experience in global commercial supply chain management;
• Strong customer orientation and ability to anticipate customer needs;
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels, fluent in English spoken and written. Any other additional language is a pré, by preference Dutch;
• Proven commercial acumen, P&L management experience and affinity;
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities;
• Deep understanding of visibility tools and value quantification/realization;
• Entrepreneurial result driven mindset with a focus on innovation and growth;
• Travel internationally as needed to support business development;
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft applications such as WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint.
