As a Field Service Technician, you ensure that hatch systems on ships and installations remain operational. You'll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining these systems, sometimes even internationally. English communication is key as you'll often interact directly with crew members on board. Your proactive approach and flexibility will be crucial in making a difference.Your workday is far from routine, one day you might find yourself in Delfzijl or Harlingen, the next you're hopping into your service van for a job in another region or even across Europe. The company takes care of your accommodations on assignments.

Here are your main responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hatch wagons and hatch systems on ships;
• Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations;
• Communicate with ship crews (primarily in English);
• Execute projects independently or as part of a team on location.

• No fear of heights (you'll often work at heights);
• Technical insight and a passion for mechanics;
• Willingness to work irregular hours if necessary;
• Proficiency in English (spoken);
• A VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one);
• A valid driver's license B.
