As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht you will earn a starting wage of at least €15.51 gross per hour. This is excluding allowances and depends on your age and experience. You will be part of a friendly team where communication and teamwork are highly valued. This is a full-time position and offers the possibility of a permanent contract with Nedal. Wat ga je doen?
As a production employee you will play an important role in manufacturing high quality aluminium profiles and light poles. You will start alongside experienced operators who will guide you step by step. This way you will quickly learn how to operate and monitor the machines in the production line by yourself. You can work in one of our two departments:

• Extrusion Here you will discover how aluminium profiles are pressed, processed and packaged. You will operate different machines to stretch profiles and cut them to exact size.
• Lima Here you will help produce aluminium light poles. You will work with techniques such as straightening sawing turning milling grinding and bending.

You check every detail thoroughly when using straightening machines, presses, or saws for dimensions, deviations, and quality.
You will start in a two shift system with working hours from 06:30 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 23:30. After that you will move on to a three shift system with working hours from 07.00 to 15.00 15.00 to 23.00 and 23.00 to 07.00.
This position offers variety and teaches you to operate modern machinery while joining a close-knit team.

Jouw kwaliteiten
In this role as a production employee, you must have technical understanding and some experience in a similar job. You are also willing to work in a three shift system and are physically fit. Of course you will use tools and equipment that make the work less physically demanding.
If you can already tick off some of the boxes below that’s a big plus. If not don’t worry we will help you achieve them

• Valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate
• VCA certification
• Hoisting certification for overhead cranes
