Contract Length: 1-2 months with a possibility for extension
Are you an experienced payroll professional with multi-country expertise and a passion for accuracy and compliance? We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist on behalf of our client, an international organization based in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Compliance
- Support payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple European countries (Netherlands, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, and Italy)
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations within international HR processes
- Support the technical and operational aspects of the annual salary review process while maintaining regulatory compliance
Vendor & System Management
- Manage relationships with insurance and pension vendors
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple payroll systems
Process Improvement & Project Support
- Support HR audits, projects, and process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to standardizing HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across European operations
- Collaborate with HR teams across different countries to streamline processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Immediate availability
- Professional fluency in English (Dutch is preferred; additional European languages are a plus)
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Payrollor a related role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in an international work environment, handling multi-country HR processes
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, compensation structures, and HR regulations across multiple countries
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Confident self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach
