As a Breakdown Technician, you will strengthen the Maintenance team at the 24/5 production location in Veenendaal! With 8 colleagues, you will work together in three shifts on fast and sustainable solutions for breakdowns. Bundling knowledge, experience and analyses to prevent technical problems with our 'state of the art' installations is the starting point of the team. The Maintenance team is known for its cooperation, flexibility and focus on results.

Team allowance of 20%
36-hour workweek
25 days of vacation and 8% holiday pay
Pension scheme where 2/3 is paid by the employer
Working hours divided into three shifts, with the morning shift working from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, afternoon from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and the evening shift closing from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Job description
With your talent for finding sustainable solutions to impossible technical problems, you directly contribute to the production of more than 8 million puffed waffles per day! To achieve this number, it is essential that the production lines keep running! And that is where you make the difference. For our location in Veenendaal, you are, together with your colleagues, responsible for making and keeping our lines trouble-free.

You take on your role as a Breakdown Technician by:

To independently resolve malfunctions and make recommendations to optimize the production process;
To carry out electrical and mechanical repairs to machines, installations and buildings;
To carry out preventive and curative maintenance and, if necessary, to carry out modification work;
To consult with your colleagues to divide the priorities together;
Leave a careful handover for your colleagues at the end of your shift;
To take all measures and give instructions necessary to guarantee the correct and safe operation of the equipment and installations.

Job requirements
Our breakdown technician recognizes himself in the following points:

You preferably have completed an MBO Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics course
Several years of experience as a breakdown technician
Good command of the English or Dutch language
You enjoy working in a team, are stress-resistant and have good communication skills.
