SanoRice Nederland has a lot of ambition for the future and is committed to further professionalizing the Technical Services department. In doing so, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer. You will strengthen the Maintenance team of approximately 25 colleagues at our 24/5 production location in Veenendaal, some of whom work in 3 shifts. The goal of the team is to bundle knowledge, experience and analysis to prevent technical problems with our 'state of the art' installations. The Maintenance team is known for its collaboration, flexibility and focus on results. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work in day shifts and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Job description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you use your technical knowledge and experience to ensure the (technical) reliability of our factory. By making optimal use of our professional maintenance management system, your analytical skills and your critical eye, you contribute to an efficiently operating department.
In addition, you are responsible for:

Ensuring that all maintenance plans comply with applicable laws and regulations, including internal guidelines, through regular checks and audits
Drawing up detailed maintenance plans, ensuring that the implementation by Mechanics and Work Planners can proceed efficiently and according to plan
The goal is to ensure minimal machine downtime and optimal resource availability
Performing detailed root cause analyses and trend analyses to prevent structural failures, with the aim of reducing the number of unplanned downtimes by a measurable percentage
Developing, implementing and evaluating improvement programs (modifications) based on analyses, to sustainably improve the performance of machines and systems
Managing technical drawings, diagrams and documentation in Ultimo, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible to the maintenance team
Developing and improving maintenance methods, such as preventive maintenance, to extend the life of equipment and minimize unplanned failures
Drawing up periodic reports from the maintenance management system, in which you analyse maintenance costs, technical performance and KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and First Time Right and make optimisation proposals
Initiating and managing long-term Asset Planning, identifying and prioritising maintenance needs for the next 3-5 years based on strategic business objectives

Job requirements
Our ideal Maintenance Engineer recognizes himself in the following points:

A completed HBO education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably in the food sector
Communicative skills and strong in administration
Good at prioritizing, analytical and able to maintain an overview
Good knowledge of the MS Office package, experience with Ultimo is an advantage
Good command of the Dutch (and English) language, both spoken and written
