SanoRice has great ambitions to continue the current growth in the coming years. As HR Manager, you play a crucial, connecting role in this growth. You look at the deployment and development of talent with a fresh perspective and stimulate ownership. You advise the management team on HR-related topics, and together with the HR Managers of the other plants, come up with improvement initiatives in the field of HR for the SanoRice Group.

You lead a team of 5 professionals in a matrix organization. You report to the CPO of SanoRice Holding and have a dotted line with the Plant Manager of SanoRice Netherlands. You are part of the MT of the Netherlands and work closely with your team and your fellow HR Managers in Belgium, Italy and Poland. You are the driving force behind a number of international projects, such as training for managers or the implementation and improvement of the HR cycle, absenteeism approach or onboarding of new colleagues.

Job description
As HR Manager, you are responsible for efficiently setting up and managing HR processes and stimulating a positive working atmosphere. You switch effortlessly between strategy and practice, communicate clearly with all levels of the organization and actively contribute to the development of colleagues. With your adaptability, pragmatism and conceptual thinking, you give direction to modern HR initiatives.

  • Strategic Advosor: You are a trusted sparring partner for management and team leaders. You advise on talent development, organizational growth and personnel planning, helping the organization move forward.
  • Engine of change: You play an active role in change and optimization processes. You ensure that people and processes move smoothly and involve the Works Council in this.
  • Culture builder: You contribute to a positive, committed work culture in which employees feel connected to our strategy and values.
  • Financially astute: You are responsible for the HR budget of SanoRice Netherlands and ensure that resources are used effectively for maximum impact.
  • Connecting negotiator: You represent and think from SanoRice's interests in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiator: Together with your team and international colleagues you work on innovative HR projects and continuous improvement.
  • Team leader & coach: You manage a team of 5 professionals and guide them in their professional and personal growth.
Job requirements
In the coming years, SanoRice wants to focus on optimizing and further professionalizing existing resources. You understand better than anyone that this growth starts with people. You are a solid discussion partner, innovative and bring structure. You can be the initiator, but also the finisher. You feel at home in an output-driven, fast-paced organization with a great diversity of colleagues. In addition, you bring:

  • A completed HBO/WO education
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a solid HR Business Partner role. Ideally, you have gained your work experience in an international (production) environment. We see management experience as a plus
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations. You understand what is required locally and what is possible internationally.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken. To connect more easily with your international colleagues, you will travel 1-3 times per year in Europe to one of the other factories.

50% - You spend 50% of your time working on HR projects and setting up and improving existing processes
20% - You provide solicited and unsolicited advice at various levels of the organization, coach managers and act as a sparring partner for the MT.
20% - You spend 20% of your time motivating and coaching your team
10% - You spend 10% of your time ensuring that internal communication runs smoothly
