Do you like working with your hands and learning directly from experienced professionals? Do you have a background in electrical engineering and a driver’s license, and are you eager to keep developing yourself? Then this could be the right opportunity for you.

In our technical department, you will work together with experienced mechanics who will guide you step by step. Every day brings new technical challenges in a modern, international flower production environment.

As a junior electrical technician, you will be involved in a wide range of installations and systems in our production facility. The work combines both electrical and mechanical tasks, so you’ll gain broad, hands-on experience.

Your tasks include:

• preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, drives, and production systems

• replacing motors, bearings, chains, hoses, and shafts

• mechanical adjustments, welding, and assembly work

• working with electric motors and basic electrical systems

• supporting installation and commissioning of new machines

• checking machines and installations for performance and safety

• (optional) learning to work with PLCs – training provided by the team

• an mbo diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar technical field

• a driver’s license (required)

• motivation to learn and ambition to grow as a technician

• a proactive, hands-on attitude

• interest in both electrical and mechanical systems

• willingness to occasionally join the breakdown service

• a diverse technical role in day shifts only

• salary up to €4,200 gross per month, depending on experience

• 8.33% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days (full-time basis)

• travel allowance according to the Dutch glastuinbouw cao

• the option to work 32 or 40 hours per week

• a one-year contract with the intention of permanent employment

• training and coaching from senior mechanics – learn directly from experts

You will be joining a stable and growing production company in the flower industry. The technical department is small but highly experienced, with senior colleagues ready to share their knowledge.
