The incumbent is responsible for the technical and organizational support as well as systematic and preventive maintenance of production. Further development and continuous improvement of the area with the aim of achieving or exceeding the specified requirements in terms of occupational safety, quality, productivity, costs, order and cleanliness as well as environmental protection. Key Responsibilities:

    Specific tasks:
•    Create an environment in accordance with the Company Values.
•    Ensure the Plant complies with all relevant to the function legal requirements.
•    Technical development and continuous improvement of systems and equipment
•    Absorbing and promoting AMPS in a daily work environment
•    Analysis of technical defects that lead to loss of quality or unplanned machine downtime
•    Ensuring compliance and improving safety standards
•    Responsible for the selection and introduction of new equipment, components and technologies, as well as the evaluation and analysis of performance.
•    Responsible for the planning, layout specification and implementation of defined international projects
•    Standard-compliant with specific management systems (quality management, project manage-ment, environmental management, occupational health and safety)
•    Responsible and supporting the standardization and technical documentation of machines and systems as well as components
•    Responsible for defining the scope of tasks, offers, resource planning and supplier selection
•    Minimization of operational costs around responsibility, e.g. overhead materials, tools, machine spare parts and warehousing
•    Team-oriented implementation of the goals from FT meetings
•    Ensuring the timely and proper execution of plant projects
•    Participation in internal and external working groups and project teams
•    Responsible for the planning, organization and monitoring of maintenance compliance and scheduled servicing of the systems in the assigned area of responsibility
•    Implementation of the results of weak point analyses and measures for process improvement
•    Responsible cooperation in the qualification of suppliers
•    Responsible execution of tests and optimisation of materials and individual processes
•    Organisation of Processes Benchmarking
•    Irregular business trips as part of the benchmarking process or for meetings and projects
•    Responsible for market analysis - research of new products, procedures and materials for intro-duction to the standardized process and development of new technical solutions.
•    Management and development of (qualified) personnel
•    Develop an own Technical Team to enable them to achieve operational objectives and to improve performance (see People Activity)
•    Help translate strategic/Plant objectives into targets in responsible area

•    Compliance with all necessary legal hygiene and quality requirements

Requirements: 

•    Good knowledge of common application programs - CAD, SAP, MS Office, databases, PLC, Infinity, WinCC incl. programming 
•    Min. 3 - 5 years in a position in the technical field, ideally with management responsibility
•    Qualification: Degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering.
•    At least 3 - 5 years of comparable professional experience in an internationally active company, ideally with a fully automated production line
•    Experience in translating results and requirements into practice
•    Experience with project and cost calculation
