Are you ready to take on a dynamic role as a shopfitter? As a key member of our team, you will independently fabricate pipe sections and brackets, assemble pipe sections, fittings, and other necessary components. You will prepare, clean, and degrease weld seams through cutting and grinding, and tack-weld pipe sections using TIG and MIG methods according to guidelines. Your responsibilities will include transporting materials to and from the workspace, reporting completed pipe sections and components, and identifying and reporting deviations in pipe materials, components, and drawings to the supervisor. You will also perform maintenance on tools and machines, ensuring a clean and safe workspace, report machine and tool malfunctions, conduct intermediate and final inspections for dimensional accuracy, and test piping systems through punching and pressure testing.
