At the Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam, a vibrant four-star superior hotel with international allure, we’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Housekeeping Manager. In close collaboration with a specialized housekeeping partner, you’ll lead a large and diverse team and ensure seamless daily operations. With your ability to organize, structure, and motivate, you make sure every room looks like it’s ready to welcome its very first guest.

What will you be doing?

In a hotel of this scale, structure and clarity are key. As Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for the smooth planning, coordination, and improvement of all housekeeping activities. You’ll work alongside a team of supervisors and dedicated housekeeping staff — partially provided by our external partner — to deliver consistent quality and a top-tier guest experience.

Organize and oversee daily housekeeping operations for the cleaning of hotel rooms and all general areas;

Plan the housekeeping team schedules according to the needs of the hotel;

Monitor the quality of cleaning and guide where needed;

Create a positive, motivating work environment where people can thrive;

Collaborate closely with our housekeeping partner and internal departments such as Front Office, Guest Relations and Technical Department;

Continuously identify and implement process improvements;

Organize periodical cleaning of the hotel rooms to ensure a spotless look and feel o

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced and driven Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor, ready for the next step in your career. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hotel environment and know how to lead and energize a team.

✅ Bachelor-level working and thinking capacity (HBO or equivalent);

✅ Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a large hotel;

✅ Fluent in both English and Dutch;

✅ Based in or near Amsterdam.
