We are looking for a Merchandise Planner to join our client on short notice. You will support buyers, analyze assortment gaps, predict promotional impacts, and drive improvements within a newly established Commercial Planning Team.
Description
- Preparing a demand forecast for new assortments based on seasonality, timing, product improvements, existing assortment and trends.
- Supporting buyers in analyzing gaps in the assortment, possible problems and proposing adjustments to the assortment.
- Align with supply chain planning to identify potential impacts on demand, adjustments to start dates, and understand potential supply issues impacting assortment planning.
- Predict expected promotional sales for planned promotions and determine the impact of other commercial activities and trends on the existing assortment.
Profile
- 2+ years of experience as a Commercial/ Merchandise / Demand planner.
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
- Proficient with planning tools and Excel.
- Experience in FMCG or Retail is a big plus.
- You have a good knowledge of planning products at the item level.
- You have an innovative mindset and like to bring new ideas to the table.
