Wat jij gaat doen

As CCO, you are the driving force behind Basetime’s international commercial growth. Working closely with the CEO, you shape both strategy and execution. You will:

  • Develop an international go-to-market strategy for Europe, North America, and APAC, with a focus on key verticals such as infrastructure, construction, and water management.
  • Open new markets through direct acquisition and by building a partner network (VARs and service partners) in collaboration with marketing and business development.
  • Coordinate international sales trajectories—from first contact to closing complex deals.
  • Build a scalable and predictable sales organization with strong processes, CRM structure, sales funnel, and clear KPIs focused on growth and profitability.
  • Lead and coach the commercial team (currently 5 FTE), with room to expand.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders worldwide.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to translate market insights into product improvements.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify and capture commercial opportunities.
  • Develop key accounts and international hubs in the US, EU, and APAC.

Our technology is applied globally to measure water levels, monitor settlement plates, track structural subsidence, and detect early signs of landslides. These four applications come together in one intelligent solution where sensors, software, and data work seamlessly together—empowering contractors, engineers, and public authorities to manage risks, improve safety, and deliver projects more efficiently.

You’ll join a compact, internationally oriented commercial team of five colleagues (three in sales and two in marketing) and help drive Basetime’s global growth. The culture is informal, results-driven, and entrepreneurial, with short lines of communication and minimal bureaucracy.


Wie jij bent

You are a strategic commercial builder with international experience and a keen eye for market development. You’re comfortable switching between vision and execution, lead teams with confidence, and know how to translate complex technology into commercial success. You thrive in a role that demands ownership, speed, and an understanding of international business dynamics. You bring:

  • At least 10 years of experience in international B2B sales in construction, infrastructure, geo-tech, monitoring, or industrial hardware.
  • Proven track record in opening new markets across multiple continents outside the Benelux—ideally in North America and/or APAC.
  • Experience in building and leading international sales and partner teams.
  • Strong affinity with technology such as sensors, monitoring systems, or IoT solutions.
  • Structured approach to working with CRM systems, dashboards, and predictive sales methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate different cultures and build trust in international contexts.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong analytical and strategic skills.
  • Excellent command of English (additional languages are an advantage).

  • An annual salary between €90,000 and €120,000 (based on full-time).
  • A performance bonus linked to jointly defined KPIs.
  • SAR scheme or exit bonus up to 3% (based on company growth or sale).

  • Flexible working location—partly remote, depending on where you live.
  • Initial 7-month contract with the intention of a permanent agreement.
  • A full MT position with direct influence on strategy and decision-making.
