Do you want to use your leadership qualities in the food industry? You will contribute to a smoothly running production process. We are looking for a leading operator for a producer of delicious tapas. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact on the floor. You will ensure every shift runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule. You will work in a 2-shift system. You can count on a competitive salary of up to €4,000 gross per month.

Functieomschrijving:
As a leading operator, you are responsible for managing daily production in the food industry. You monitor progress, quality, and safety. Key tasks include:

Coordinating the daily production of tapas.
Managing, coaching, and motivating operators.
Distributing work and ensuring clear communication between shifts.
Quickly solving (technical) process problems.
Identifying bottlenecks and making suggestions for improvement.
Actively contributing to process optimization and the safety culture.
Close collaboration with various departments, such as Technical Services, Production Management, QA/QC, Supply Chain, and HR.

Functievereisten:
For this position, you will be the linchpin in promoting safety awareness as a leading operator . You supervise compliance with rules and guidelines and ensure strong team cooperation. In addition, you possess:

Completed mbo (vocational/secondary professional education) level 3 or higher, preferably in (process) technology or logistics.
Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry.
Demonstrable experience with managing teams.
Good command of English.
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
Knowledge of HACCP and a keen eye for safety, hygiene, and quality.
Own transportation and availability for 2-shift work, occasionally including weekend or night shifts.
