Sailpoint security engineer

Location: Rotterdam (3 days per week in Rotterdam)

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months+

Hours per week: 32/40

The Digital Identity Services team maintains various applications for our Security domain such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Auth0. With growth and focus on control and compliance, new IT systems are implemented and existing systems updated to effectively support the organization internationally.

The current SailPoint IIQ environment will be migrated to the ISC environment.

Currently we are working on our Modern Data Platform (MDP) which will support us to become a data-driven organization by onboarding data products in a central and governed place with the possibility to exchange data. This will enable our vision: all data can be easily stored, found, interpreted, and used by everybody that has proper authorization. The MDP Program involves both the creation of data products (in Snowflake) as well as the replacement of the existing technology stack tooling (PowerCenter, Redwood RunMyJobs) to the new interface tooling (Axway, AirFlow/Astronomer, DBT).

We are looking for an “SailPoint engineer” who will maintain primarily the IIQ SailPoint environment and coordinate in close collaboration with IT stakeholders the maintenance support and development work.

Your activities consist of gathering and analysing requirements, aligning with business & IT stakeholders, governing and engineering the necessary interfaces as well as all other relevant conditions within the Security maintenance environment. This support means development work, handling requests, questions, incidents or problems and ensuring that they are either delegated to the right person/department or placed on the backlog to be resolved in a timely manner. Furthermore, as an engineer, you are capable to act as an advisor to the client, architects, and your peers on the best possible (technical) solution. Beside the desire to deliver quality solutions, you are also involved in the entire release process. Hence you will be supporting in the testing, documenting and releasing of your changes.

The SailPoint engineer must be able to act as a sparring partner for business counterparts as well as IT stakeholders. It is further expected that you have or will develop a broad knowledge of the respective requirements and Security tooling, interact with different stakeholders to ensure the IT strategy is followed and oversee and mitigate risks where applicable.

You are able to drive change and work with multiple systems and processes. You can establish yourself as a trusted partner to your business and technical counterparts. You can deliver results and achieve objectives, both autonomous and in a team setting. You are a strong team player.

We expect a proactive attitude and rapid participation in the Change process.

Social and communication skills and working under time pressure are also essential for this.

Responsibilities & Knowledge

  • Experience with SailPoint.
  • Knowledgeable about Azure DevOps (Repos and Pipelines)
  • Testing and peer review of the work of your colleagues
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze data issues in a structural manner;
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand and analyze the requirements for proper technical solution(s);
  • Identifies and initiates improvements on processes and tooling (automation) and collaborates in improving activities;

  • Develop, support & maintain the diverse integrations within the Digital Identity Services landscape;
  • Monitoring the environment and ensuring its continuity;
  • Familiar with Agile, Scrum, Itil and Devops
  • Proficient in the Dutch and English language (written and spoken).
  • Knowledgeable about Web Services (Soap and REST).
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases , Linux, PowerShell, XML, JSON, GIT and ANT is a pre.
