Front end developer Reporting Services

Location: Rotterdam (3 days per week in Rotterdam)

You will be part of the Reporting Services team, where we design and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help stakeholders understand performance, risks, and opportunities. We deliver data and reports to internal as well as external clients. In this Value Stream, we are responsible for all Reporting, Sales, Marketing, Client Services applications and (ESG) Reporting.

Position

The team has developed a sophisticated web application that serves as a central hub for authenticated users to access key information. Built entirely in-house, this client portal is tailored to meet the needs of our international clients, taking into account diverse regulatory requirements. This makes our environment a dynamic and non-standard solution that continues to evolve.

What you'll do:

As a Front-End Developer, you’ll be part of a skilled, young, and motivated team responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our in-house developed client portal. You’ll work in a collaborative Agile environment where code reviews, shared ownership, and open communication drive quality and innovation. Beyond your own development work, you’ll also play a role in supporting the growth of your teammates by helping them strengthen their front-end skills and encouraging knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop the Front-End of our client portal
• Take ownership of your own user stories that directly impact the functionality and user experience of the website
• Collaborate within an Agile team of professionals to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
• Participate in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback — to ensure code quality and foster team learning
• Actively contribute to team discussions, challenge ideas, and help shape the way of working
• Explore, evaluate, and adopt new front-end technologies, tools, and best practices
• Support the growth of your teammates by sharing knowledge and helping them develop their front-end skills
• Work closely with the team and stakeholders to deliver seamless, userfriendly experiences

Candidate profile

• You are a skilled and proactive Front-End Developer with a passion for building high-quality digital experiences and helping others grow. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy taking ownership of impactful work.
• You are a team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues in developing their front-end skills
• You are communicative and confident in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• You are curious and eager to explore and adopt new technologies and techniques
• You have 4+ years of experience in Front-End Development, with a strong track record of delivering production-ready features
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• You have solid knowledge of TypeScript, Vue, HTML, (S)CSS, and Git
• You are familiar with NPM and Webpack for efficient package management and bundling
• You have experience with Azure and its deployment philosophy
• You have a good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Able to work independently and autonomously, while staying aligned with team goals
• You are comfortable taking ownership of user stories that directly impact the platform
• You are willing to share your opinion and actively contribute to improving the way of working
