Do you combine strong project management skills with natural leadership? As Team Lead Project Management - Customer Care at AMF Bakery Systems, you not only oversee international Repair & Modernisation projects but also guide and develop your team of project managers. With a customer-first mindset, you ensure projects are delivered successfully while driving team performance, improvement initiatives, and cross-department collaboration.

What do we offer you?

  • Monthly salary between €4,700.00 and €5,900.00 based on a 40-hour work week (depending on your knowledge and experience), excluding allowances

  • Travel allowance (€0.23 per km) and an excellent pension plan (PME)

Responsibilities of Project Management Team Lead - Customer Care

  • Leading projects for Repair & Modernization: from the moment the customer signs (and often already at the order proposal) through to the SAT and official delivery.

  • Managing and guiding a multidisciplinary – and sometimes multi-site – project team from start to completion.

  • Simultaneously involved in multiple international projects.

  • Establishing milestones and technical processes with all stakeholders and ensuring everyone stays on track throughout the order fulfillment process.

  • Collaborating closely with customers: managing expectations and proactively advising/supporting them during qualification and validation activities (FAT, SAT, Project Closure and evaluation).

  • Monitoring the project's scope, schedule, budget, and delivery dates (POC).

  • Actively contributing to improvement initiatives within project implementation according to the Markel Business System.

  • Lead Daily Management - CC Project Management Coaching and team development

  • Report / Escalate to CC Projects, Engineering & Field Execution Manager 

  • Lead and mentor project managers within the customer care department, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and consistent project execution.

  • Monitor and manage the overall project portfolio, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met across multiple initiatives.

  • Coordinate resource planning across projects and teams, balancing workload and priorities based on business needs and customer impact.

  • Act as the key liaison between customer care leadership, project teams, and other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and communication.

  • Handle escalated project issues, risks, or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

  • Evaluate and improve project management methodologies, tools, and workflows within the customer care environment.

  • Track team and project KPIs, generate reports for CC Projects, Engineering & Field Execution Manager , and use data to drive continuous improvement.

Occasionally:

  • Collaboration with OCCR and CCR team

  • International travel around the world to project sites

  • Minimum 5 years experience in project management roles

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the industry (food industry is a plus)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Dutch and English

  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility

  • Systematic work attitude, goal-oriented
