PSLab Amsterdam is looking for a Junior Communicator | Amsterdam. This is a role aimed at supporting PSLab Amsterdam projects with trusted partner for architects, interior designers, landscape designers, developers, and other key players in the high-end construction and design industry.

The successful candidate will serve as PSLab’s ambassador in The Netherlands embodying our values, methodology, and design-centric approach. Playing a vital role in introducing our lighting solutions, conveying our process of work, and driving new business opportunities.

Main Duties

• Help ensure that projects are completed within reasonable timeframes and to high quality standards.
• Reviewing on a frequent bases with the Designers and communicators of PSLab the deliverables of the projects.
• Attending the Project briefing meetings and the design workshop.
• Proper management and timely response to PSLab clients queries.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with industry professionals through networking, in-person meetings, and showroom visits (in house).
• Drive new project opportunities, secure design engagements, and oversee the commercial negotiation.
• Regularly invite and host design practices in Amsterdam showroom to present our design capabilities and project portfolio.

Additional duties

• Manage all internal and external communication with clients, contractors, and (lighting) design teams to ensure a smooth coordination for the projects.
• Coordinate and document all project activities, including communications  and meetings, on the CRM system.
• Manage site visits to oversee the installation of PSLab products.
• Attend when requested Workshops and training sessions organized by PSLab Beirut.
• Promote PSLab’s unique process of lighting design and technology to the professional design and construction community.

PSLab is a lighting company founded in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2004. They specialise in designing and manufacturing project based / personalised lighting solutions for projects worldwide.

They produce every product in-house, which promotes collaboration and open dialogue with clients and architects. The working environment is designed to create an open and inspiring atmosphere, where new materials and techniques can be explored continuously.

• A strong background in the lighting industry (+2 years) is a plus or similar industries (high end furnitures, kitchens etc), familiarity with high-end architectural or interior design projects
• A background in design studies (architecture, interior design, product design, etc.) is highly valued.
• Outspoken, confident, and naturally charismatic. Someone who enjoys networking, is easy to connect with, and has a genuine passion for the design and construction world.
• A good understanding of theconstruction industry and how design professionals operate within it.
• Based in Amsterdam or nearby, with good familiarity with the local market and players in the field.
• Fluency inDutch and English is required.
