Shape the Future of Supply Chain and Technical Innovation

What will you be doing? 

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a cross-functional team that plays a pivotal role in Vanderlande’s product development and technical innovation. Your team will contribute to early-stage development and optimization across domain, ensuring our products remain competitive in price, quality, lead time, and reliability. 

Your team will consist of three key disciplines: 

  • Value Engineering – optimizing designs for cost-efficiency and performance. 
  • DFX Consultants – guides teams in integrating best-practice design principles early in product development to drive smarter, more innovative outcomes. 
  • Project Managers NPI – leading new product introduction projects and improvements for successful execution. 

As a team leader, you will be responsible for connecting these disciplines, driving collaboration, and ensuring a well-integrated approach that supports our overall company goals.

You will also play a key role in managing change as we refine our team setup for future success. With team members located across multiple regions worldwide, you will need to foster unity, engagement, and teamwork, creating an environment where every individual feels connected and valued. 

Key Responsibilities 

As Team Lead Distribution NPI, DFX & Value, you will: 

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a cross-functional team of DFX consultants, Value Engineers, and Project Managers NPI. 
  • Collaborate with Technology and Solutions to enhance product development across the Distribution domain. 
  • Define and implement the best supply chain strategies to support domain-specific needs. 
  • Manage and delegate improvement initiatives aligned with departmental objectives. 
  • Influence stakeholders across Supply Chain, Technology, and Solutions, fostering alignment and support. 
  • Drive and implement transformational changes, ensuring successful execution of the Path to Value strategy. 
  • Contribute to KPI enhancements, ensuring measurable progress  
  • Actively engage in global collaboration, with occasional international travel for team coordination and project oversight. 

What do we ask from you? 

To excel in this role, you should bring: 

  • Proven leadership experience, guiding diverse teams to impactful results. 
  • Preferably at least 3 years of expertise in managing teams, ensuring structure and engagement. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a high-demand global environment. 
  • A forward-thinking mindset, driving innovation and process optimization. 
  • Strategic vision, translating departmental goals into actionable steps within your team. 
  • Adaptability and resilience, able to lead transformational change initiatives. 
  • Technical awareness, preferably within supply chain management, automation, or engineering domains.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5.400 to € 7.300  gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).   

On top of your fixed salary you’ll receive the following secondary benefits:​ 
 

  • 40 vacation days (20 statutory days and a flexible budget worth 20 days).​
