The interior disciplinary team is responsible for the engineering and the realization of the entire interior of superyachts. From stairs and ceilings to custom furniture, everything meets the highest standards of luxury, functionality and regulatory compliance. The interior engineer will be at the heart of bringing innovative interior designs to life.

This client is part of a long-standing shipbuilding tradition dating back to the 19th century, now specializing in custom-built motor yachts. Their operations are supported by a skilled team of professionals working across all disciplines of modern superyacht construction. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects and maintaining close, personal relationships with clients, supported by first-class facilities and craftsmanship.

• Developing detailed engineering plans, 3D models, and technical drawings for superyacht interiors;
  
• Ensuring designs comply with project specifications and class & flag regulations;
  
• Conducting technical assessments to optimize designs for manufacturability;
  
• Identifying and resolving technical challenges proactively;
  
• Collaborating with engineering, production, and design teams.

• A bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a related technical study;
  
• A minimum of 5 years of working experience as an engineer in shipbuilding or yacht building;
  
• Proof of experience in interior engineering, ideally within high-end residential sectors or within marine);
  
• A strong understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques;
  
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools like AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and/or NX;
  
• Knowledge of industry standards and relevant regulations;
  
• Excellent communication skills in the English language, both spoken and written;
  
• Validity to work in the Netherlands.
