Do you enjoy ensuring that a production process runs smoothly and efficiently? Do you have management experience and are you comfortable working in two shifts? Then become an assistant foreman (or woman, of course!) at the largest sushi producer in the Benelux!

Over de vacature:

As a cooperating foreman/woman, you will ensure that daily production runs efficiently and without interruption. You manage a team of 20-25 line operators, production employees and flex workers in the production and packaging department.

At the start of the day, you instruct the employees on your clear daily schedule. You then monitor whether the daily schedule is followed on the shop floor. You have knowledge of HACCP and act when hygiene and safety regulations are not observed.

Under your watchful eye, the production line runs optimally. You ensure that production targets are met and the line keeps running. You keep stock of production and packaging materials, check the equipment and adjust it where necessary.

In addition, you introduce and supervise new employees and conduct performance appraisals together with the shift manager. During the weekly meeting with the other foremen/women, you discuss the planning to ensure everything runs smoothly. A broad and varied range of tasks, in other words!

Wat wij vragen:

• You have at least MBO-4 working and thinking level.
• You have leadership experience in a production organisation.
• You are in possession of your own transport.
• You can work well in a refrigerated working environment (4°C).
• Knowledge of HACCP and ISO regulations is an advantage.

Over het bedrijf:

You will be working at the largest sushi producer in the Benelux. This market leader supplies daily fresh sushi and other Japanese dishes to various supermarkets. It employs some 120 enthusiastic employees, 20 of whom work in the office. The working environment is dynamic, informal and multicultural.
