• Identify packaging cost optimization opportunities and assessing technical feasibility with suppliers and Danone x-functional teams;

• Build and timely execute packaging qualification plans (incl. lab, plant and transport validation) in collaboration with suppliers;
• Troubleshooting and technical problem solving.

Gevraagd

The role requires the ability to effectively communicate in a cross-functional environment (factories, procurement, R&I, quality, suppliers). Ideally, you have experience working in a cross-functional and international environment

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, Technology, or similar discipline;
• Some work experience in the development of packaging for Food, Pharma, and FMCG companies.
• Experience with flexible, plastic, metal, paper, beverage carton, barrier, and corrugated packaging development is a plus; 
• Pack technology savviness balanced with good problem-solving skills, determined to achieve the result with high-quality standards in the packaging development process, while being an outstanding Team player.
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Copilot); 
• Availability to work from the office at least 2 days/week; 
• Travel time is 10-15% average within the EU factories/supplier network; 
• A subject matter expert and strong team player supporting the Specialized Nutrition team in the optimization of packaging cost & value;

Aanbod

Through our agency, you will receive a 12-month temporary contract with an external party. 
There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 12 months or that our client will make you an offer of a contract; however, we are not able to guarantee this. The location is Utrecht, and hybrid working is possible.

• Salary will be around €4500 - €5000  gross a month based on a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is based on your experience;
• Leave days;
• Travel expenses will be covered.
