As a Senior Software Engineer in the Digital Engine Platform Team, you'll help shape the architectural vision and technical roadmap of internal developer platforms. Your core tasks will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable platform features and “paved roads”.
• Leading architectural decisions in a complex, modern tech landscape.
• Evaluating and integrating new technologies to enhance developer experience.
• Collaborating with DevOps, architects, and stakeholders across the organization.
• Maintaining clear, modern platform guidelines and documentation.
• Driving a culture of internal open-source, reusability, and autonomy.

Gevraagd

• Senior/Lead-level engineering experience.
• Microservices and API design.
• Python (other ecosystems like JavaScript, Go, Rust, or Java are a plus).
• Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Unix/Linux.
• Monitoring/Observability tools (e.g., Elastic, Grafana, Sentry).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable solutions in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AWS (certification is a plus).
• Understanding of security and compliance in platform engineering.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Independent, proactive, and accountable.
• Empathetic and collaborative mindset.
• Product-oriented thinking – balancing immediate delivery with long-term vision.

Aanbod

This interim position starts from January 5, 2026, to December 19, 2026, offering a full-time engagement of 37 hours per week. The role offers a competitive maximum rate of €99 per hour. Interviews are scheduled for Week 43/44. Ideal for a seasoned professional seeking a dynamic, high-impact role in a modern tech environment.
