We’re looking for a Marketing Manager Water & Team Lead to join our Water & Maritime marketing team. This is a unique dual-role position that blends hands-on marketing strategy and execution with staff wellbeing support for your team.

You’ll be part of a high-performing international team and drive marketing excellence across our Global Leading Markets (GLMs), with a strong focus on Climate Resilience and the Water Market.

​​As a Marketing Manager Water & Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth within the dynamic B2B engineering industry, with a focus in the water, maritime and climate resilience market.

​Your role is instrumental in achieving our Business Line (BL) strategy for growth. You'll work closely with our Business Development team and the Director Business Units (DBUs) to gain deep market insights and uncover growth opportunities through strategic initiatives.

​Within your role, you will enable a team of marketing professionals to foster their growth and provide direction and guidance to support them to achieve business line (BL) goals and objectives, aligned with team priorities.  

​Moreover: ​

• Strategic Growth and Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement growth strategies to increase market presence and acquire new customers through diverse campaigns, with a strong focus on the Netherlands.
• Revenue Enhancement: Boost revenue and customer satisfaction through cross-selling and lead generation efforts.
• Event and PR Management: Plan and execute industry-specific events, webinars, and proactive PR initiatives to position experts as industry leaders.
• Resource and Budget Management: Efficiently manage the marketing budget and review marketing plans to ensure alignment with growth objectives.

As our new ​Marketing Manager Water & Team Lead &​ you will become part of the ​Water & Maritime Marketing team​. You will be reporting to the Director Marketing & Growth and you will be part of the MT.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• ​Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a marketing role within the private and public sector and with the B2B engineering or consultancy sector.
• ​Dutch native speaker.
• ​Proven experience leading international marketing teams.
• ​Deep understanding of the global water market; strong knowledge of the Dutch water sector is a plus.
• ​Commercially savvy with a growth mindset and experience in sales enablement.
• ​A strong foundation in B2B marketing strategy, with a focus on lead generation and strategic growth.
• ​Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to leverage market insights and research to drive strategy.
• ​Proven experience in developing compelling VPs & portfolio for specific client segments or sectors in the water & resilience market.
• ​Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
• ​Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., email, social media, display advertising) and customer journeys
• ​Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, lead management, and opportunity management. A good understanding of pipeline management.
• ​Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• ​Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to execute with flawless attention to detail and meet all deadlines
• ​Self-motivated, agile, solution and result oriented.​

​You will be joining an international team with a home base in the Netherlands. As part of your responsibilities, you require to travel within the Netherlands, ensuring you're an active and integrated member of the (wider) team. Being part of an international setup not only provides an exciting and dynamic work environment but also allows you to fully benefit from the significant flexibility we offer to our employees.

​When you are based in the Netherlands, you can work from different offices. Once per week we work together in the office, in Amersfoort.​
