We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Director EHS International to elevate our global standards and lead Environment, Health & Safety across all operations outside North America.

As Director EHS International, you will define and drive our EHS strategy for international sites, steering programs that protect people, safeguard the environment, and support business growth. You will work closely with senior leadership, plant managers, and EHS professionals to create a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with purpose: Set strategic direction for EHS across all international locations, aligning with global objectives and business goals.
• Drive global integration: Oversee implementation of EHS management systems, standards, and sustainable development initiatives.
• Partner for growth: Provide due diligence, integration, and risk management support for M&A, new sites, and large-scale projects.
• Coach and inspire: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of plant-facing EHS professionals.
• Manage performance: Monitor EHS metrics, regulatory changes, and risk trends; propose solutions to senior and executive leadership.
• Champion sustainability: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership to achieve sustainable development and compliance targets.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing (food/FMCG ideal), with exposure to corporate and site levels.
• Deep understanding of international EHS regulations and best practices.
• Track record of building strong, capable teams and fostering safety-first cultures.
• Expertise in M&A due diligence, project EHS support, and sustainability initiatives.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% globally.
