Business Analyst in Strategy Planning team
Verisure is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team that helps us build the future of our fast-growing organization.

We are seeking a Business Analyst who excels in both business understanding and data management. In this role, 80% of your focus will be on understanding and improving business processes, while the remaining 20% will involve working with data—analyzing it, managing it, and using tools like Power BI and SQL to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis (80%):
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand key processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data-related projects.
- Develop a deep understanding of our business operations and ensure that data initiatives align with strategic goals.
- Data Management and Analysis (20%):
- Use Power BI and SQL to analyze data, create reports, and build dashboards that support business decision-making.
- Manage and maintain data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all reports and insights.
- Learn and adapt to new data tools and technologies as needed to meet business needs.
- Work with the IT and data teams to ensure the availability and integrity of data sources.

- Business Acumen:
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map and optimize them.
- Ability to align data initiatives with business objectives and communicate the impact of data-driven decisions.
- Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in analyzing data to extract meaningful insights that support business strategies.
- Experience in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities within data sets.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Power BI and SQL is preferred, with the ability to learn and manage these tools as required.
- Basic understanding of data modeling and database management is a plus.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Educational Background and Experience:
- Holds a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or possesses equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in a business analyst role with a focus on both business processes and data analysis.
- Location Requirement:
- Preferably seeking candidates who are already located in the Netherlands.
