We are currently looking for a student who meets the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related studies
• Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is an advantage
•  Experience with for instance Solidworks, Matlab, Python is considered a plus

As an intern, you will work in a dynamic Research & Development environment under the supervision of an engineer or scientist in a multidisciplinary team that has expertise in the development of intraocular lenses, process development and metrology.
We have multiple projects within our department that you might be interested in of which a few are listed here:

• Improvement and automation of a test setup (script development)
• Process improvement
• Sustainability
• Literature study on market developments
