Do you enjoy creating safe and efficient workplaces? Looking for a flexible, part-time role in an international environment? Then this position as Senior Facilities Coordinator in Amsterdam could be a great fit.

What are you going to do?

The Senior Facilities Coordinator is responsible for facility-related site operations and management supporting both the office and Quality Control laboratory in Amsterdam (approximately 45–50 employees). The role ensures a safe, compliant, and well-maintained working environment in line with local regulations and global policies.

This is a temporary assignment for 6–12 months, 24–32 hours per week, with a possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily facility operations and act as first point of contact for facility matters
  • Manage service contracts, budgets, and suppliers for maintenance, cleaning, utilities, and security
  • Safeguard compliance with GMP, health & safety (Arbo), and SHE standards
  • Plan and align maintenance activities in consultation with laboratory staff and certified vendors
  • Oversee space utilization, infrastructure, and site improvement projects
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new facility processes and tools
What do we offer?
  • Temporary position for 6–12 months, with possible extension
  • Gross annual salary up to €60,000 based on 36 hours per week
  • 8.33% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days (pro rata)

Where will you work?

The position is based at a global organization operating within the biotechnological research and development industry, focusing on medical products, pharmaceutical processes, and nutrition. The Amsterdam site includes an office and a Quality Control laboratory spread across 2.5 floors.

What do we ask?
  • Experience in facility management within a GMP or laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of Dutch health & safety (Arbo) legislation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage
  • Proactive mindset and ability to balance operational and strategic topics
