• Support and develop the existing data warehouse, interfaces, and user tools using SQL Server, SSIS, BI tools, and Microsoft development platforms.
• Maintain and enhance the data model and ETL pipelines in collaboration with business stakeholders to reflect new business requirements.
• Implement and update data quality checks within the data warehouse.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring optimal operation and security.
• Define and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Establish user access, roles, and permissions across database systems.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external data governance policies and audit requirements.
• Perform regular database tuning and capacity planning to meet operational demands.
• Contribute to IT development projects across various divisions and work with outsourcing parties.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure and data strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and analysts within the organization.
• Support and promote data governance and data management initiatives.

Gevraagd

• Academic degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in IT development.
• Proven track record (5+ years) in data warehouse development and administration, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong experience in data modeling and data warehouse design.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server development and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Solid understanding of database security, IT compliance, and backup strategies.
• Knowledge of finance and risk reporting frameworks, including data lineage/audit requirements.
• Familiarity with data governance.
• Good communication skills to translate business requirements into data logic.
• Experience or interest in working in a multi-cultural environment.

Aanbod

A great permanent role in Amsterdam, with a 37.5-hour workweek. Next to a competitive salary, your package includes a 13th-month payment and holiday allowance. The final salary will depend on your experience and seniority. In addition, you are eligible for an performance bonus between 6% up to 10%, payable in July at the full discretion of the employer. The initial contract is for one year, with the intention to extend to an indefinite term. You will also enjoy 30 days of holiday annually. The start date is as soon as possible.
